Mint has been known for thousands of years as a natural calming and soothing herb. It is made up of 78% menthol which encourages bile to flow into the Duodenum, where it promotes and aids digestion. Mint is also a natural and potent ‘antispasmodic’ which relaxes the action of muscles making digestion and the subsequent release of energy quicker, and also kinder on your stomach.

Short dated so disappointing as most of the other product has at least eight months shelf life where these only have three months
Hi Rebecca! Thanks for reaching out. 😊 Just a heads up, different products have different shelf life dates from the moment they're made, mainly because the ingredients vary. Our Chocolate Covered Mint Cakes have a maximum date of 5-6 months from when there made, due to their ingredients and the fact that we don't use any preservatives.

Lovely flavours, great ingredients, not too sweet. I wanted them for on the go endurance racing so slight niggles for me, the packets are hard to get into! Might just be me but I only achieved tearing a corner off, maybe a little nick or something that tears more easily? Plus texture was quite crumbly so the ground got to share some.! I would buy again but if these were fixed it would be 5 stars.

This week I spent two long days trail running in Eryri. I used some of these products on both days. The first day was quite warm and with that it can be a bit of a struggle to eat, but I found these bars really easy to take. They tasted great and I had no gut issues at all. I'll definitley be using these on my Ultra Trail Snowdonia 100 mile event in May.

Great texture, easy to eat - tried lots of different carbs during runs, road marathons and trails. Always come back to Kendal Mint Cake, never choked on it (have on some jelly type ones!) and easy to wash down with water. Mint flavour is refreshing too. Always recommend!
