Tastes great (not usually a fan of mint but trusted the reviews and it's lovely)!
No gut issues.
The caffeine really helps give a boost on longer runs (as does the sugar)!
Consistency is quite runny so really easy to pour and drink.
The refill flask is great too. Easy to use and clean.
Flask fits easily in tights on the side or back.

Used the refill packs and soft flasks for two half marathon training plans and races. Used them for all of my long runs and the two races. No GI issues, less viscose than a lot of other gels so they are easy to drink, not sickly sweet (the mint helps).
Ultimately very reliable, consistent and helped me get big PBs in each race.
Currently using them for marathon training and will use in the Manchester marathon.
I can easily fit 4 soft refill pouches in my pocket waistband shorts, no dropping empty plastic gel sachets, no sticky pockets from empty sachets either.

We've tried various gels to find something that my daughter will tolerate for use during games, long training sessions and tournaments. This appears to be THE ONE! It's viscous enough that it goes down smoothly and she likes the refreshing minty taste. Many other gels she's tried have been sickly sweet, or too thick and some of the ingredients have made me want to weep. The single use packaging is also a pain - really fiddly with cold hands and usually makes a mess. The refill solves that problem. I like the combination of the electrolytes and B vitamins in addition to the fast carbs for her and feel it's definitely helped her fuel more efficiently for her sessions. She doesn't tolerate much in her stomach prior to exercise and finds she gets a stitch if she has timed her food intake poorly. She likes the ability to refill the soft pouch according to what she will need during a session and she uses a rubber band to keep the pouch attached to her water bottle so it's there for every drinks break if needed. There have had a couple of leakages (if the pouch gets squashed) but we'll have to learn to manage that better! It's very important for me to know that she now has a more comprehensive fuelling strategy that she's in control of and feels confident to use because she likes the taste and the uptick in energy. .
