Team KMC were incredibly proud to receive the award for Sustainability in Running at The National Running Show 2024 for our Refillable Energy Gels.
A heartfelt thank you to all those who voted. It means a lot to our tiny team, in fact it's very much personal. Particularly, as many of the other awards went to huge brands such as Garmin, to then see our name on the board next to them was something else.
When we first launched KMC back in 2019, we saw the (mostly unintentional) litter caused by Energy Gel packaging and decided we had to do something about it urgently. Wind the clock forward to the end of 2021 and we launched our first trial of refillable energy gels.
Wind the clock forward to today, we now more energy gel serves in every flavour than we do in single use. With our goal being to completely reduce single-use plastic from our range.
We fully appreciate, it would not be achievable without your trust and support, so thank you.
